Random Rambling..

I am thinking about another hair cut and was browsing through some pictures today. I found that most American like to have a big volume hair. WEIRD!!
Bigger volume hair is sexier? Wont it look like a lion or something? Wont it look like the head is so much bigger than the body? Unproportioned..(if this is even a word)
Male friends, help me out here. I would appreciate an answer for this looooong-wondered question of mine.

Filed my tax last weekend. I am SOOO proud of myself for not doing the last minute thing like I usually would. Good Improvement. ^-^ Get most of my tax back. I can't believe I lived on a less than 10k's annual income last year! I did, and I survived!! Even though ended up owing CL some money, which I did pay back now, but yet, I get through it!! That 10k was not even included those Fed tax, State tax, Medicare and Social Security shit (pardon my language here, they took like 30% off my freaking low income!).

I was thinking yesterday night while I was brushing my teeth on how much money I can save after a year of working since I survived on that low income last year. After thinking through, the answer is, NOT MUCH! I am paying more than twice the rent I was paying, I am paying for internet, cable and etc etc. Now, I have to pay my retirement fund somemore...Good god! Life!! I think I better start looking for a roommate or sub a room from someone. That way, I can split my internet bill, cable bill and other bills. Also, then I wont be buying so much junks cause I wont have space to store my junk food. Ooo...Can be on healthy diet and save money too!! Just a thought..don't think I will ever do that though.

Hmm...how about an illegal second job? That would do it..hehe...

Oh..good news! My tax paid for my ticket to my friend's wedding in TX. Y, Jc, and Jack, I am coming! Hehe...haven't seen them for a loooong time. Heard that Mike and his gf are going to be there too. Can't wait to see them! Now the problem is, how to tell my boss that I want to leave an hour early? Hopefully, he will understand.
Still, can't make it for the Oct wedding in HK. Sigh...I WANT TO GO!! You know what..make some problem with my visa..then, I am FORCED to go back to M'sia to settle it. Then...I can go!! Hahaha...DREAM ON! -.-

Life Lessons

Went to a Professional Achievement Toastmasters meeting last Saturday in Marshalltown. I went there as a guest cause I haven't got my CTM and am not qualified for the membership. I joined Toastmasters last month and I am having quite a bit of fun with this group of people. They are all over 40 years old, and some even in their mid 60s but they are all interesting people. I have learned so much life lessons from their speeches and talk. One of the gentlemen in my area's Toastmaster club was a pastor. He enjoyed preaching and giving speech but reality forced him to become Kum' N Go late night shift's store manager. It is interesting to learn about other's story and it actually teaches me something. Talking to them actually makes me think about life, reality and also learning new things every time.

Life lessons learned from last Saturday:
1) Do something, then you don't have time to complain about it.
2) I love you for not who you are, for who I am when I am with you and what you draw out of me.
3) Do not quit doing what you are made for to do (you can tell that this is from the Pastor), don't hesitate to seek outside power if that will make you better and keep you moving.

Steps to Secrets telling:
1) Dodge - throw the question back to the person
2) Short truth - don't spill all the beans
3) Easing - tell them the truth (when you trust them)


Did something that make me proud of myself this morning. Small little step to make myself stronger. Thanks for all the supportssss. Love you guys always!

互相帮助，在职场上，并不是一个非常可行的行为。
很多时候，帮助别人完成他们的工作，不但会害了他，很多时候，也会害了你自己。
虽然你认为，紧急的时候，或，想把工作尽快完成，就该撇开这些所谓“不是你份内的事就不要做”的道理，把完成工作当成最主要的目标，能越快做好就是最好，但，有时候，这种想法是不可行的。帮助他，只会令他更懒惰。帮助他，你只会摧毁你上司的计划，间接性地留下了一个坏印象。互助，在职场上，是不存在的。

應該強迫自己走下去呢？還是承認自己的失敗而選擇離開？
承認失敗算是逃避嗎？還是也是成長的一個過程？知道自己的能力和局限，勇于面對，然後做一個更適當的選擇，算是成長吧？

寂寞

寂寞，是一種病毒。隨著年齡的增長，人，越來越寂寞，也越來越害怕寂寞。就連最驕傲的孔雀，都會因為寂寞而思考著放棄這裡的一切，回家。想不到，真的想不到。。
寂寞，是一種成長過程中我們都要學會克服的東西吧。很多人因為拒絕面對，而選擇了回家。那孔雀，已獨自面對這個問題快兩年了吧，終於，她也要放棄了喔。我想，她終於都明白了金錢買不到快樂這個道理吧。
最近這幾天，和幾個朋友聊起了這個話題，原來，每個人都寂寞。周遭有朋友圍繞的人，也覺得寂寞。有遠距離愛人的人，也覺得寂寞。住在大城市，有朋友，有很多娛樂的人，也覺得寂寞。甚至，有愛人在身邊的人，還覺得寂寞！真不明白。我想，我會是他們之中，最寂寞的吧。
人，為甚麼會寂寞？因為心靈上得不到滿足？還是因為要求太多？那，有愛人的人，還覺得寂寞，是因為不被了解嗎？有遠距離愛人的人，因為孤獨，所以也覺得寂寞嗎？

以前，不了解為甚麼有些人就是不能單身，現在，終於都慢慢地明白了。
以前，不了解甚麼是站在一個你愛或愛你的人的面前，卻感覺好陌生，好遙遠，好寂寞，現在終於懂了。

人，最重要的是，不要因為寂寞而做出傷害別人的事。

隨著年齡的增長，生活的磨練，人，變得越來越會保護自己。打開心勇敢地去愛一個人，似乎變成了一件很困難的事。愛了，發生了一些小小的摩擦，很快地就想要退縮了。
是理智還是膽怯？是自我保護，還是互相傷害？
得到了，不是應該更懂得珍惜嗎？為何還要傷害對方？
被人愛，是種幸福。能夠去愛人，也是種福。
你想當猜心的人，還是給心的人？
