The Family Stone

Cheryll recommended The Family Stone and CL and I watched it last night. It is a great movie. This movie is particularly interesting because the character of each family member were very different. They have a gay and deaf son, who is dating an African American guy, a laid back observant son, a spoiled youngest daughter and all those sort of different character. It describes how most family are. Not all of us are similar, not even if we are raised in the same family. We are different in one way or another no matter what. That's what makes us unique. If you are a SJP supporter, you probably will feel disappointed because her character was not lovely. I won't go too deep into the details but there are some things that I really need to get it off my chest after watching this movie.
**Movie Spoiler Alert**
The part that I don't like, and don't think is realistic at all, is the ending. Till now, I still don't think, and can't accept the fact that the brother, Everett, who planned to marry the older sister, Meredith, ended up dating the younger sister, Julie. And the older sister, Meredith, ended up dating the younger brother, Ben. It is unacceptable for one person to date his/her best fren's ex, not to mention their siblings! It is just not realistic at all! The worst part is, all these happened in 2 days! C'mon, be REAL!
Overall, I still like this movie especially the part where the big kids were chasing around the house and fighting with each other. It just reminded me of me and my siblings.

What would you do?
I was at my friend's house waiting for her to get ready and go out. Her roommate's parents were there as well. As usual, we would call our friend's parents uncle and aunty. So, I did. This friend of mine, she is very blur and sometimes act like aunty. We gave her a nickname, aunty. So...
I was waiting..waiting..waiting..at the door. The real aunty was in the kitchen next to the door. I became quite impatient and was planning to ask my friend to act faster. So, I yelled, "Aunty!"...Before I continue saying what I planned to say, the real aunty who was next to me answered me, "Yes?".
In this case, what would you do?
A) Pretend that you were planning to talk to that real aunty and start up a conversation after rudely yelled at her.
B) Explain that you were calling your friend aunty, not her, which, might put her in an embarrassing situation.
I, obviously opted for option A and started making up things to talk to her...My friend was trying so hard not to laugh.

Since you been gone..
To the memories of my lovely, worryless student life.
Since you been gone, I look like a lost soul in a no-man land.
Since you been gone, I started losing my self confident bit by bit.
Since you been gone, I am known as "the person with the most free time".
Since you been gone, I am being categorized into the jobless category.
Since you been gone, I know that I should really move on, as soon as I could.
Since you been gone, I know that job searching is not an easy task.
Since you been gone, I have to look at my bank account tightly.
Since you been gone, I have to really watch where my money goes.
Since you been gone, I understand that my visa status is a huge problem.
Since you been gone, I understand that life is not as easy as it seems.
Since you been gone, I learned that I have been very lucky for the past 23 years.
Since you been gone, I realized that life is meaningless when dreams seems unreachable.
Since you been gone, my life is pretty much very screw up and boring!
