Thanksgiving..

**Updated: Nov 26, 12.04am

Just came back from Cheryll's house. She invited CL, Nat, Jose, SL and me over to her place for thanksgiving dinner. Nat brought her brother, D with her and CL brought KY to the dinner. It was a lot of fun. Cheryll prepared the turkey and we prepared the rest of the meal. It was fun cooking in her kitchen and messing around. I can't believe I could spend more than 12 hours in somebodyelse's house, especially someone who I respected so much without getting myself into troubles. I am always afraid that I might say something wrong or did something bad, but this time, I think I did fine. Best of all, I was being myself.
We had a really great time. SL and R left early and then the rest of us, we just hang out and play games. We played the same games for more than 4 hours! Amazing, huh?! None of us felt like leaving but Cheryll was too tired, so, we decided to leave. Sigh.... I haven't been laughing so hard for a long long time. I can't even recall the last time I had so much fun and laughed so hard. We played the game called "Catch a phrase". It was something like taboo but there is no limitations on how you describe the word. So, we pretty much came up with anything. I even guessed "chicken" while KY was giving the hint that this thing could fly. -.-" It became the joke of the night. CL also used many different funny hand gestures that no one could understand her and it just cracks us up. It was funny to see how others mind work. Some of us try to make it simple, some of us make it much more complicated. It was fun and it also make you realize how little you know about things around us. I gave them the hint that Milan is the capital of France, and I said that New York is the capital of US. -.-" Quite stupid, huh? Just realized that I really need to read more about current events, geography and also histories. What a frog under the well!
We were having so much fun and Cheryll asked us to come back again when we have time. Unfortunately, none of us is going to be here for Christmas. If not, we could have done another Christmas dinner. Hehehe...
Will post some pictures tomorrow. Gotta go to bed now..tomorrow need to wake up early and go shopping!

Happy Belated Thanksgiving y'all!

CL, Nat and me with Cheryll's Turkey.

That's what our tummy look like after the dinner.

Group pictures before we left.

The day before Thanksgiving, we have another Thanksgiving dinner in CL's house. Yeah, speaking about gaining weight!

Urgh!!!!

I cracked my cell phone!! Darn it!! Now I have to get a new one!! So stupid and careless!! I thought that I can save some money and only get a new one next year when the contract expired, but now, I don't think I could wait till then. The flip screen is barely hanging on, shaky and can't even stay open nor close. Sigh...what have I done?
I checked on ebay and planned to get a used one, it cost at least 100bucks for my phone!! Can you believe it? I bought it for around 80 bucks a year and a half ago, and now it cost like 100bucks? What's up with people? Technology become more advance but people just like the old stuff? Weirdos..just like me. If I ask the insurance company to send me a new one, it will cost me at least 50bucks anyway, and they might not send me the exact same one. Besides, they are not picking up my calls. So, what should I do? Buy a new one from ebay? Kept bugging the insurance company? Or go to radioshack and get a new one? Man..my wallet is getting skinnier day by day. Seems like there are neverending incidents that need money. My car, my phone, my dental, my eyes...man..life sucks without Mooolaa...
Getting a husband with a bunch of Mooolaaa soon..

Let It Snow!!

Let it snow! Let it snow!
Wahahahahaha...is snowing!! I can't believe it!! It was like 70s to 80s last week and now it is snowing!!! It started snowing since this morning around 11am. I was so excited when I looked out the window and saw the rain turned into snow flakes! It was...just GREAT!! I was so happy and while I was walking towards MU, I was actually jumping and dancing in the snow. L thought that I looked like a crazy people so she decided to ignore me and left me walking by myself behind her. Anyway, I had so much fun walking in the snow. I bought a cup of chai latte and walked around the campus after that. Sounds stupid, right? Well, as long as stupid thing does make you happy, no harm doing it, rite?
This year, we have an early snow though. I still remember the first year I was here, it snow at December 12th. This year, is kinda early. The weather report said that the snow should be a few inches high. While I was walking back from school around 7.15pm, it was already few inches high and it was still snowing at that time. I left my footprint behind..in the snow. So much fun!
The snow always tells me that Christmas is near, Christmas is near. I always find serenity during Christmas, or I should say, winterbreak. The musics and songs from the radio, just makes me feel so peaceful. I am counting down...

The Right Person

I was watching "What I Like About You" that day and something really meaningful came across and I think I should share with my friends.
Most of the time when we are hurt by love, we become scare and weren't brave enough to love again. Yes, love does bite and it does hurt when it bites. It hurts when our love one left us behind. However, we have to always keep in mind that the right person will always stay. So, what about those wrong person who left? Should we hate them? No, we should be grateful that they left because if they don't leave, the right person wouldn't have a chance to come along, wouldn't they? Besides, you must've learned something from the wrong person too, right? That also helps you to improve yourself or understand yourself even better and then only you will learn who are the right person that you are really looking for and be prepared for it when you meet him/her.

STOP!

Stop,
stop telling me what to do,
stop telling me how to live my life,
stop telling me who I should love,
stop telling me who I shouldn't love,
stop telling me who I should forget,
stop telling me who I shouldn't forgive,
stop telling me how to react,
stop telling me how to respond,
stop telling me I should learn to fake,
stop telling me I should get a PhD,
stop telling me I should graduate,
stop telling me I should go back,
stop telling me anything!

I do what I wanted to do.
I say what I wanted to say.
I see what I wanted to see.
I read what I wanted to read.
I listen what I wanted to listen.
I think what I wanted to think.
I write what I wanted to write.
I decide what I wanted to decide.

That's me, and my life. It's mine. I chose to face it with my heart, my instinct and my gut feeling. I might be wrong sometimes, I might get myself hurt sometimes, I might get myself into trouble sometimes, but yet, this is my life I am living, not yours nor his nor hers. I am happy because I am being honest to myself and I am living my own life with no regrets. I will take full responsibility on whatever decision I made, not you made. I will listen to you if I wanted to, but don't expect me to do whatever you said.

Yeah, that's me. Like it or not, it's up to you! I am not listening anymore. Judge me however you want, I don't care.

YEAH!!!! ISU ROCK!!!!

30 - 16!!!! We won the game!!! ISU ROCK!!!!! Colorado, we kicked your ass!!!!
Just came back from the game. We are lucky that it wasn't raining at all. The weather turned nice after the game started. The sky was dark and the thunder was rumbling before the game start. Tornado warning was issued till 7.45pm for our county. The game was postponed to 6.40pm instead of the scheduled 6pm. Even though it wasn't raining, the wind was pretty strong. When the game first started, the wind was about 45mph. It was great for ISU because it was blowing toward our direction.
Anyway, I think ISU was lucky. Our offense sucks actually. Not much first down was made throughout the game. We have 3 touchdowns and 3 field goals. 2 of the touchdowns were scored due to luck. One of them was scored from fumble and the other one was from interception. It was funny when the football player picked up the ball or caught the ball. He seemed like he was in shock and did not believe that he got the ball. Then only he realized it and started running. It was so much fun cheering and yelling especially the last touchdown, which was made in the last 2 minutes of the game. I was jumping and yelling while he was running for the touchdown. Everyone got so excited and jumping up on the chair and giving each other double high 5. I think I am going to lose my voice tomorrow. It's worth it though, my last football game in ISU. I felt so alive while I was booing the referee and cheering for our team. I had so much fun!

KY and I took this picture after the game. We both bought the ISU football mug as souvenior for our last game.

We went down to the field to take this picture. It was cold....

Look at the score board, Cyclone: 30, Buffaloes: 16. Lalala...I am so happy now. Hope we can win our last game in Kansas. Let's pray for miracle. :)

Thursday, November 10

Got the ticket for the game this weekend. Last football game for this season. Or, should say last home game for this season. At first, I thought that it is at noon, which the weather should be still fine to watch a game. Unfortunately, I just found out that it is at 6pm!! *speechless*
That's the typical me who is always so blur. I didn't check the time of the game before I said yes to my friend. Now...I can only pray for a good weather. It was suppose to be sunny this Saturday, but I checked it again few minutes ago, it said, "PM Showers". Nice... Not only the cold, we still have to deal with the rain now. This sounds...fun. Well, anyway, this is the last football game I am gonna watch, I guess. Next year, hopefully, I wont be here anymore. :)

I was talking to Nat and Toshi that day after Nat's oral prelim. I am so glad that they both passed their prelim. They were trying to talk me into doing my PhD. I told them that I am not gonna do my PhD. after seeing what they've been through. I guess the main reason I am not going to do my PhD now is that I don't think I am ready. It took a lot of patient and self discipline to be able to make it through. Right now, I don't think I have enough of either of these. Besides, most of my friends, especially international student who got the PhD without any working experiences are having a hard time getting a job. So, why torture myself then? I also told Nat that if I can't find a job, then I might go back for PhD, and she replied, "I hope you don't get a job then." What a friend! -.-"

I have been eating snake today the whole day. Slept till 9.30am (the most sleep I got in these 2 weeks), woke up, walking around, web surfing and relaxing. I didn't go to office or lab. I was driving around the town looking for car mechanics and auto body shop. Trying to get my car fix. I went to Sears to get oil change for my car. It had been more than 5 months since I did the last oil change and the mileage is way passed the 3000miles I supposed to change it. What a lazy bum I am! Hopefully, I could get everything fix for my car before graduation.

Ok, have to put my Hagen Daaz rum raisin ice cream back to the fridge before I finish the whole pint.
Will post some Halloween pictures up soon..

Ouch!

I felt awful!!! I wish I could turn back time and undo what I did today. Gosh...
I went to Target today and I ran into this guy, Johnny, who I danced with in Club-e that Saturday night. He was a cashier in Target. I knew he worked in Target but I never thought that I would actually ran into him. I wasn't prepared at all when I saw him. I was in shock. So, what did I do??!! I pretended that I did not know him!! Shit!! That was very very rude! He was a nice guy and he doesn't deserve to be treated that way. Sigh...what have I done??!!
All because of the PMS!! If not, I wouldn't have filled my arms with cookiesss, snackss and cakess. Then, I would have seen that guy at the cashier before I throw all my junks on the belt. Then, I might have avoided him or think twice before I did something stupid and awful like this. Wish I could turn back time..
